Mumbai: After turning deglamorised and donning cotton sarees with faint make-up for Prakash Jha’s ‘Raajneeti’, Katrina Kaif is all set to bid goodbye to her staid look. The actress will soon be seen doing an item number in Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan.’ News has it that a joyful Katrina personally shopped for all the accessories to get the perfect look of an item girl in the film.
Talking to a news daily on her frenzied shopping experience, an elated Katrina said, “It is a challenge doing a complete look for my character. I guess I learnt that from ‘Raajneeti.’ Every accessory makes you feel more like the character.”
It is believed that Katrina is closely studying the best of Bollywood item songs – right from Mumtaz’s ‘Tik tiki tik’ (Humjoli) to Bipasha’s ‘Beedi jalaile’ (Omkara).
Even Akshay Kumar has be teaching Katrina the art of losing one’s shyness while dancing on-screen. Talking about her inhibitions, Katrina said, “I’ve always wanted to freak out on camera, to just get wild. This is my chance.”
